"I’m a writer, a poet and an artist. I live in Beirut, Lebanon. My work focuses on issues of gender, sexuality and human rights in Lebanon. I’m passionate about language, theatre and performance." I’m the same, yet so different.
Who are we when the body into which we were born and our features change at the same time as the heart of our city? What remains of ourselves? And what does it mean to be ourselves, at home, with ourselves? What new refuges can we give ourselves?
Hashem Hashem has lived many lives. He writes them down. And stages them.
